WEIVI, established in 2022, is a deep tech startup dedicated to producing optimisation solutions based on scientific computing. Our flagship software is a simulation and optimisation solution for railway traffic management.

The demand for more environmentally friendly train transportation has increased, leading to a growing need for both passenger and freight transport and boosting the demand for railway traffic optimisation solutions. In Europe, digitalisation and standardisation projects for railway infrastructure aim to increase capacity by 40% using the existing infrastructure. The goal is not achievable without efficient traffic optimisation.

In this project WEIVI develops and productises scientific computing based railway traffic optimisation software. The technology, based on WEIVI’s state-of-the-art mathematical modelling, is significantly faster, more accurate, safer, and more energy-efficient, as well as easier to use than existing solutions on the market. Our software offers entirely new possibilities for railway operators to meet future challenges.
